Williams B. Alethia Obituary (1943

Alethia, better known to us as Angel, Nana or Ale was born in Greenwich, CT on January 25, 1943 to the late Herman and Mary Williams. She attended public school at Barry Avenue Elementary in Mamaroneck, NY and graduated from Rye Neck High School in Rye, NY. Before moving to Stamford in the 1960s, she resided in Port Chester, NY and was employed at United Hospital. She was carried by the hands of the Holy Angels to her heavenly home on April 26, 2015. She was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Monique Nikki Williams Warner in 1999. In addition to her sisters, Sandra Williams of Stamford, CT and Joyce Wilson of Hamden, CT, she is survived by her daughters, Joslyn Jolli Williams, Mignon Maine Williams, Shele Shelli Williams, Shanate Shea (Irving) Hutchinson, and her God given daughter/granddaughter, Rainique Cornish, her grandchildren, William Green, Jr., Jakai Williams, Rai-Jarvis Tipton, Tre Tipton, Porsha Hammett, Ricka Williams, Irving Hutchinson II, Jordan Hutchinson and Kyree Hutchinson. And her great grandchildren, Nivayah Green, Landon Brice and Jace Hutchinson. A wake will be held at Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church, 27 Baxter Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 9:00 am. Followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 am.
