William Preston Smith, Jr. Obituary (1925

William P. Smith, Jr. "Bill" entered into eternal rest on December 23, 2013 in his home. He was born May 5, 1925 in Washington D.C. to the late William P. Smith, Sr. and Eva E. Smith. Bill Smith was the owner of Creative Shutter Photography. He was also a photographer for News Publishing Company in Stratford, CT for over 20 years. He later retired from The Bridgeport Post after 25 years of service. Bill was a member of Calvary Seventh-Day Adventist Church for well over 40 years. Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marie C. Smith; four children, William P. Smith, III (Bobby), Bernard Belcher (Anna), Wallas Smith, Juaquina Smith-Shaw (Thomas-deceased); special daughter Jacqueline Smith-Wright (Paul), and daughter-in-law Brenda Smith; nine grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. Viewing from 5 to 7 pm. Service at 7pm.
