Slyvia C Blake Obituary (1932

Sylvia C. Hill Blake was born in Nottingham, England on December 10, 1932 and she passed away on May 8, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Blake. Sylvia was the Loving mother of seven children, Paul W., Julie A, Anthony E., Rodney N. and family, Vanda, Sally A., Valarie and Zoe Blake. A few thoughts you didnt know about our Momshe was a wonderful mother who loved long walks, picnics, talks, music, a good teacher and loved "eye spy" (game). She was very healthy a cooker and loved to exercise. Mom was a soft spoken person and very slow to anger. She believed in our heavenly Father strongly. She leaves behind granddaughters Nicole and Maria Blake, a sister, Lefia Hill and a close friend Chana Cruz. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many, many more. Mom will be greatly missed in death, she has taught us to Love, Respect and Stay together. Services for our Mom will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Baker Isaac Chapel at 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, viewing will begin at 6:00 pm and the funeral will begin at 8:00 pm.
