MacKendy Joseph Obituary (1989 - 2025) - Bridgeport, Connecticut

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved MacKendy Joseph, born on October 19, 1989, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. MacKendy, a supportive and generous soul, spent his 36 years on this earth creating a lasting impact on everyone he met. His thoughtful nature brought comfort to those around him, and his loving heart made him an irreplaceable part of our lives. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." MacKendy embodied this sentiment, leaving an indelible mark on us all with his genuine warmth and compassion. MacKendy was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in his work as at Amazon. Outside of work, MacKendy was an avid dancer and the life of any gathering. His captivating energy and infectious laughter will be sorely missed at every family get-together. MacKendy dedicated much of his time to helping others, always taking the time to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. MacKendy is survived by his daughter, Maddy Bella Joseph of Haiti and his 18 siblings. He also leaves behind an array of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his father, Menos Joseph, and his mother, Marie Pierre. A visitation for MacKendy will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00am at the Baker-Isaac Funeral Services Chapel, located at 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut, 06607. The Celebration of Life service will follow at the same location at 12:00pm. MacKendy's story is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived.
