Alvah George Patterson Obituary (1962

Alvah George Patterson age 59, entered into eternal rest at his home in Bridgeport, CT. The Lord Jesus Christ wrapped his arms around him in comfort and gave peace. The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:11 Alvah G. Patterson was born in Bridgeport, CT at home in Beardsley Terrace Bldg. 16 on Feb. 21, 1962. He was born to Elizabeth Cook Patterson and Willie Eugene Patterson Sr., who are both predeceased. Also, his sister Gladys Elizabeth (Catchings) Bush. He attended Bassick High School. AL worked many jobs while he was here, but "handyman" was his main occupation. Alvah was very loving and caring. He loved to make people laugh, he loved his family and loved his children. He has two daughters Tekenya Montiero (Bridgeport, CT) and Yolanda Vann (South Carolina) and one san Alvah Patterson Jr. (Bridgeport, CT). He has two brothers Raymond Cathcings (Bridgeport, CT), Willie E. Patterson (Bridgeport, CT) and one sister Alice W. Patterson (Orlando, FL) He also leaves behind his fianc Nicole McClain, five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
