Tarsha L. Scovens Obituary (1970

Tarsha (Simms) Scovens, 45, of Norwalk, Connecticut was called home to rest in the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Tarsha was born on January 14, 1970 to the late Travis Simms, Sr. and Barbara Paulk. She was the loving wife of Carl Scovens, Sr. Mrs. Scovens was a lifelong resident of Norwalk having attended local schools and graduating from Norwalk High School. In addition to her husband, Carl, Tarsha leaves to cherish her memory, two adoring daughters, Carissah Scovens and Shanyra Miller both of Norwalk; one beloved son, Roger Travon Simms, two step-sons, Carl Scovens, Jr. and Kiyle Clark and one grandson, Cameren Scovens all of Norwalk; four sisters, Antoinette Paulk-ONeal, Sephlia (Donald) Baldie, Debra Taylor, and Olivia Dardy all of Norwalk; five brothers, Travis (Sandra) Simms, Tarvis (Maria) Simms, Ozell (Kim) Paulk, Steven (Tonisha) Paulk, and Lawrence (Renee) Taylor all of Norwalk; three sisters-in-law, Delia Paulk, Luphelia Paulk both of Norwalk and Anissa Scovens, of New Haven, CT; one brother-in-law Gerald (Delores) Scovens, Jr. of Hartford, CT; two best friends, Ebony Harris of Norwalk and Barbara Thivierge of Hamden, CT, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins and friends. Mrs. Scovens was predeceased by her father, Travis Simms, Sr.; two brothers, Larry Paulk and Fred Paulk. A Celebration of Tarshas life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ, 2 Trinity Place, Norwalk, CT, with Apostle Michael Densmore, officiating.
