Shirley J. Graham

Shirley Jean Graham, Of Greenville, NC (formerly of Bridgeport, CT) made her transition from labor to reward on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Shirley was born in Abanda, Alabama to the late John and Jessie Lindsey. Shirley was married to the late James W. Horne, Sr. (Lester)/deceased 1969. Later, Shirley met and married the late Horace R. Graham/deceased 2010. Shirley leaves to cherish her memories, five sons, James (Kathryn) W. Horne, Jr. of Boundbrook, NJ, Sherman H. Horne of New London, CT, Reginald D. Horne of Bridgeport, CT, Salah L. El-Saddiouq (John) of Hamden, CT, and Ray H. Graham of NC; daughter, Sheila (Mike) Haymes of Florida; siblings, Ann Morris of Chicago, IL, Mildred Devault of Abaline, AL, William (Meredith) Lindsey of Greenville, NC, Majorie (Walter) Sullins of Bridgeport, CT, and Dera Mae Lindsey of Anniston, AL; six grandchildren, Meghan Somerville, Melissa Horne, James (Wesley) Horne, III, Joshua Horne, Salah Pettway, and Sharmone Horne.

Family will greet friends Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 5:00 7:00 P.M. at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607. Homegoing services will be held Monday, November 12, 2012 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
