Sheryl Valentine-Summers Obituary (1959

Sheryl Valentine-Summers, 51, of Stratford entered into Eternal Rest on March 8, 2011. Sheryl grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Warren Harding High School. She was currently employed by Ace Tempest Re. Sheryl enjoyed spending quality time with Randy and her children. She also loved to travel and shop. Sheryl was a devoted Christian and very involved with community events to include time with under privileged children. Sheryl is survived by her sons, Sean (Zaria) Valentine and Shadeed Valentine; daughter, Shyanne Valentine; grandsons, Sincere and Sean Zafir Valentine; aunt, Eloise Huggins; her loving and sincerely devoted Companion Randy Douglas; grandmother Emma Valentine, mother, Nina (William) Minor; sisters, Tracy Valentine-Jordan, Barbara (Michael Blake) Valentine, Lisa (Richard Hall) Valentine, Debra (Chester) Robertson, Pamela Holiday, and Janice (Marty) Berg; brother, Brian (LaToya) Minor; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, church family, and co-workers. Sheryl was predeceased by her Father Bobby Valentine. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011 at The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 729 Union Avenue, Bridgeport, 06607. The viewing will begin at 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following at Lakeview Cemetery.
