Ronnie Terrell Thomas Upchurch Obituary (1979

Ronnie Terrell Thomas Upchurch entered enteral rest Wednesday May 12, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by family. Ronnie was born July 11, 1979 to Debbie Upchurch and Ronald Davis(Renee Davis). Ronnie was a life long resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut and was educated by the Bridgeport school system. He was the eldest of four brothers Darryl Harp, Julius Barnes, Deshawn Hamilton, and Jerel Bevel. Ronnie was full of life, he loved to be around friends and family. Ronnie known as Rugged loved music, playing cards and sports, especially basketball. His favorite team was the Boston Celtics, he loved to watch and play ball with his late grandfather (papa). He was a humble spirit who made everyone laugh around him. Ronnie adored being around his children especially his two grandchildren. To know Ronnie was to love him. Mr. Upchurch leaves to cherish his memory with five children; Emasjee Upchurch, Ronnie Terrell Thomas Upchurch Jr. Enaisjia Upchurch, Nyieshia Upchurch, and TaNye Upchurch. Ronnie also leaves behind two granddaughters Aaliyah Richards and Sujata Upchurch; a maternal grandmother Barbara Upchurch ( late William Upchurch) and a paternal grandmother Louise Davis. He also leaves behind a favorite aunt Vickie Upchurch, a favorite uncle Dwayne Upchurch(Buster), and a host of close cousins, aunts, uncles, and a special friend Denise Arrington. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 12:00 PM, Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 729 Union Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive guest from 11:00 AM until time of the service at the church. Interment will be private.
