Retha E. Adams-Strong Obituary (1942

Mother Retha E. Adams-Strong, peacefully entered into eternal paradise, on Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was born into this world on October 17, 1942 in Hartsville, South Carolina. She is the beloved daughter of Samuel and Mable Dicks of Stratford, CT. She joins the love of her life in everlasting Mr. Andrew Walter Strong and her four children that have gone before her, Dennis, Larry, Christopher and Joyce. She leaves to continue her legacy of memories her four children; Samuel (Sandy) Adams, Deborah Adams (Terrance) Palmer, Carolyn Adams (Archibald) Nicholson and Pamela D. Adams all of Bridgeport, four sisters; two brothers; 21 Grandchildren,3 Great grandchildren, other relatives and friends, and a special son Brian Smith. Friends may greet the family on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. until time of the services at Messiah Baptist Church 210 Congress Street Bpt, CT. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Bpt.
