Rachell P. White Obituary (1934

Rachell Preston White, a longtime Stamford resident, died on April 22 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was 72. She was born in Orangeburg, SC, on December 29, 1934, to the late Nelson and Rebecca Preston. She is survived by her husband, Henry H. White; three daughters, Rosalyn P. Snell of Orangeburg, SC; Simone Preston-Perry (Vincent) and Kimberly White-Nieves (Angelo), both of Stamford; two sisters, Lucille P. Moorer of Orangeburg, SC; and Mozell R. Gross of Stamford; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers Ernest Preston, Nelson Preston Jr., Fred Preston, Theodore Preston, and Johnnie Preston. Funeral services were Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Stamford, Connecticut. Interment at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien, Connecticut.
