Peter Ruben Nelson, Sr. passed away peacefully, December 17, 2015 while surrounded by his family. He was born December 30, 1938 in Stamford, CT, son of the late Andrew (Nine) Nelson and Catherine (Cassie) Baskin-Nelson. Mr. Nelson Served USMC ~ United States Marine Corp. with a Honorable Discharge. He was employed for many years at Metro North. His memories will be cherished by Daughter, Keshia (Maliki Stone) Nelson and Two Sons, Peter R. Nelson, Jr. and Otha W. Nelson of Boston, MA. One Sister, Katie B Nelson, One Aunt Louise Ancrum both of Stamford, CT. Three grandsons Khiry Nelson, Amani Nelson and Ja'kai Nelson. Host of Nieces & Nephews, Cousins & Friends. Mr. Nelson was predeceased by his parents, brothers Andrew (Bubba) Nelson and Curtis Nelson. Services on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, viewing at 9:00am to 11:00am; services at 11:00a at Wilson Memorial Church, 164 Richmond Hill Ave., Stamford, CT. Officiating by Dr. Christine Faulk-Miles. Interment will be Thursday 10:00am at Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT. Funeral Services entrusted to Baker-Isaac Funeral Services.
