Pastor Shawn M. Brown Obituary (1967

Pastor Shawn Maurice Brown, a native of Norwalk, CT was born in Middletown, Connecticut to the late Verdell Fogle and the late Roger Godfrey. An astute student and graduate of Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT Shawn later attended the Bethel Bible Institute in Bridgeport, CT. After the inception of an insightful music career Shawn became the Pastor of the Place of Worship formerly known as Christian Tabernacle Church in Norwalk, CT. Pastor Shawn Brown has served as the National Minister of Music for the Community Churches of God, Inc. and has penned for gospel artist around the globe with authorial genres like Awesome God/Youthful Praise, Grateful/Bishop Hezekiah Walker, The Promise/Key of David, and more. On Sunday January 31, 2010 an angle of the Lord was dispatched to escort the spirit of Shawn Brown back to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shawns faith in God has been established in the Key of David. Brown, Jr., (1) grand niece Sahryah Brown, (18) nieces and nephews, several godchildren, and a host of cousins. He was pre-deceased by his father Roger Godfrey, his mother Verdell Fogle, his maternal grandfather Primus Addison, maternal grandmother Viola Addison, and his uncle Samuel Brown.
