Nelson Geyer Jr., age 85 of Waterbury, Connecticut passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital. Nelson was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on July 10, 1928 to the late Ethel Tubman and Nelson Geyer Sr. Nelson loved to fix things, he was liked for his smile, sense of humor, and quiet voice. Nelson had no children but he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Nelson leaves to cherish his memories his brother David Geyer (Julie) of Bridgeport, Connecticut; sisters Mae Geyer-William of Alabama and Betty Geyer of California; special neice Bonita Perry "The Boss" and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, brothers Andrew, Eddie, and Bobby Geyer; sisters Dorothy Helen Geyer, Marie Belle and Ethel Geyer. Funeral services will held at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services 985 Stratford Avenue Bpt, CT on Saturday February 22, 2014 viewing hours will be at 10 am with funeral services to follow at 11 am.
