Mother Viola Brown Addison Obituary (1928

Mother Viola (Brown) Addison, 78, a former resident of Norwalk, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 31, 2007. Viola was born in Vance, SC in Orangeburg County on September 10, 1928 to the late Janie Roach and the late Sellers Brown. A loving Grandmother, Church Mother, godmother, and aunt; Viola was the widow of the late Primus Addison, and mother of the late Verdell Brown-Fogle and the late Samuel Brown. She was a devoted member of the Little Zion Church in Norwalk, CT under the Pastorate of Bishop Isaac Davenport and served as a church mother. She leaves to cherish wonderful memories her aunt Mattie Jefferson (Everitt), (4) grandsons; Pastor Shawn Brown, Lamont Brown, Derrick Sheppard (Allison), Rodney Crauley, (1) granddaughter; Trellany Brown Donald (Alan), great grandchildren, LaVaughn Brown, Lamont Brown, Jr., Erick Sheppard, and Allyne Donald; (1) greatest granddaughter, Ciriah Brown, (2) God daughters Nikki and Daniel, a host of relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her brother Hezekiah (June) Roach and sister Verdell Roach. Funeral services were Friday, September 7, 2007 at Little Zion Church of Christ, in Norwalk, CT.
