Maurice 'YeeTah' Stokes Obituary (1958

Maurice YeeTah Stokes, a longtime resident of Norwalk, CT, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at home. Born on October 30, 1958 in Orangeburg, SC, he was the son of the late Alexander and Annie Fairnot Stokes. Maurice was a retired landscaper and he enjoyed life with his family and friends. He is survived by, four sisters, Christine Polite and Diane Stokes of Norwalk, CT; Yvette (Thomas) Mack of Elloree, SC, Mary Ann Langley of Connecticut; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by one brother, Ephraim Stokes. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 96 South Main Street Norwalk, Connecticut. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery Norwalk, Connecticut.
