Macolm Kwan'e Shivers Obituary (1989

Malcolm Kwame Shivers, 31, left us peacefully on September 1, 2021 at home. Malcolm was born on December 18, 1989, in Norwalk, CT to Lenette Dancy and Brian Shivers. He graduated from Harding High School, then attended Porter Chester Institute. He also attended Southern New Hampshire University (online classes) where his focus was general studies. Malcolm worked at Alliance for Community Empowerment (formerly ABCD) where he was a floating aide for over 7 years until he became too ill to work. Malcolm enjoyed listening to music and playing his PS4, but he also loved spending time with the kids. He had a witty personality and loved to make jokes! He loved cracking jokes on his friends and other family members. He was lovingly playful and his sense of humor will never be forgotten. Malcolm is predeceased by his grandparents, Russell and Verline Dancy and his uncle, Charles "Chaz" Shivers. He is survived by his parents, Lenette Dancy and Brian S. Shivers; his grandfather, James (Alqueen) Shivers; his grandmother, Ernestine Hill Shivers; 4 sisters, Jessica Dancy, Regina Grant-Shivers, Katheran Rogers and Quantasia Johnson; a brother, Jarret Davis; 4 aunts, Nichele (Stacy) McBride, Amy Dancy, Tanja Shivers and Ivy (Eddie) Dancy-Smith; 2 uncles, Gregory (Shirley) Shivers, Tony (Pam) Grant; 4 nieces, Aniyah Dancy, Deven Ried, Amara Ried and Kylee Guthrie; 2 nephews, Jacob Johnson and Josiah Fulton; 2 Goddaughters, Jada and Khloe and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and other relatives.
