Lurline Albertha Sylvester, age 64 of Bridgeport and Flanker District, Montego Bay, Jamaica, was born to Walter West and Myrtilen White of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, November 2, 1944, departed this life peacefully Sunday, March 8, 2009 at her daughter's home in Bridgeport. She migrated to the USA in November 2008. She attended schools in JA and worked as a craft vendor. Her loving memory is cherished by her husband, Desmond and mother Myrtilen of JA; daughters Charmaine Reid (Melvin) of Bridgeport, Caroline Clarke, England; Shernette Whittingham, JA; sons, Garth Clarke, NY and Merville Clarke, JA; nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters and seven brothers, one aunt and uncle and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Lurline was predeceased by son, Cleon Anderson. Viewing is 5:00-7:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport.
