Kenneth 'Kenny' Lamar Toms Obituary (1949

Kenneth Lamar "Kenny" Toms of Bridgeport Connecticut entered eternal rest Tuesday, June 10th, 2008. Kenny was a long time resident of Bridgeport for over fifty years. Born February 11, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Samuel and Donna Toms, grandson of the late Mother Minnie Lee Owens and widower to the late Brenda Roseboro Toms. Kenny attended the Bridgeport public schools. He worked in the manufacturing industry most of his life. Kenny served a brief time in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Elks Lodge. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Kenny had a passion for drawing and a love for animals. He leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Anthony (Maggie) Toms of Waterbury, William Toms and his fianc Lindsey White of Bridgeport; two sisters, Cheryl Thomas of Fayetteville North Carolina, Donna Doss (Richie) Spicer of Fayetteville, North Carolina; two nieces, Brandi and Brianna Doss, two nephews, Amario and Alan Bennett; an Uncle, Dr. Reverend William E. Chancey, and his wife, Joann of Quincy, South Carolina and a host of cousins and other family and friends. Funeral Services were Monday, June 16, 2008 at Baker-Isaac Funeral Services Chapel, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut 06607 and Interment at Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. *** Please sign guest book for the family thank you. ***
