Jazmyn Shinece Pabellon Obituary (1987

Jazmyn Shinece Pabellon 33 was born at 8:15P.M. on January 4, 1987, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Gilbert Pabellon and Indi Pabellon. She departed this life on October 24, 2020. Jazmyn was raised in Bridgeport and graduated from Kolbe Cathedral High School. She also graduated from Housatonic Community College with her Associates Degree. She not only did well, but several times, Ms. Pabellon made the Deans List. Continuing her pursuit for excellence, Jaz was currently taking online courses to complete her Bachelors Degree in Business. She worked for Alliance for Community Empowerment (formerly known as Action for Bridgeport Community Development, Inc.) in 2001 as an office assistant for the Lighthouse Program and transferred to the Early Learning Division. After graduating from HCC, she began working for the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles in 2014. Jazmyn was promoted to Head Examiner. She also worked evenings at the Norwalk Housing Authority as an office assistant for the learning centers. Jazmyn was known by so many names, like Jazzy and affectionately called Cupcake by her Nana and loved children. She appointed herself Gilbert and Jordans second mother. Her younger brothers required extra coaching. She did not mind reminding folks that she taught her Jordie how to clean. Apparently Mama Indi wasnt as firm with those two! Once they grew up, she watched other children of family or friends. She loved family gatherings and socializing with friends. She was an avid dog lover. Her most beloved pet was Dennver (with 2 Ns). Jaz enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and was quite creative. Fiscal management was an area she had an very definite position. Squandering money was an egregious act. However, in life one did have to exercise a perk or two. Traveling to New York and the Caribbean were two of her favorites past times. Between her face and her nails, Jaz was ready to walk the red carpet at any Hollywood event. Jazmyn loved attending Ebenezer Gospel Assembly and volunteered at Ebenezers "Operation Here to Serve", serving and feeding those less fortunate. She would get many compliments on her wonderful cakes. She was predeceased by her grandfathers - Antonio Brown and James Anderson, her special cousin - Quinten Pomroy Brown and her great grandmother Mary Gathers. Jazmyn leaves to cherish her memory: her great grandmother Jeffer Mae Brown, her grandmothers - Ovivian Brown and Lucinda Anderson (Connecticut), Grandaunt Sylvia (Melvyn) Mahon, Granduncles - Wilbur (Tommye) Brown of South Carolina, Danny (Iris) Weston (New Jersey), her father Gilbert Pabellon (Tamara), her mother Indi Hayes (Patrick), Aunt Wallata "Necy" (Bill) McLeain, Uncles - Antonio Brown (Joy), Adon Brown, James Anderson (Connecticut), Siblings - Gilbert, Jordan and Maliah Pabellon (Connecticut), Octavius Hayes (Lindsey) of South Carolina, Antonio and Olivia Hayes of Virginia, two special cousins - Marquis and Tiana Brown, and Godson Kyre Davis. Jazmyn will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends. For those family and friends that will not be able to attend the Celebration of Life physically.
