James 'Tuid' L. Williams Obituary (1930

James L. Tuid Williams of Bridgeport, CT, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2009. He was the son of George Adams and Maggie A. Williams Harris. James was born on June 28, 1930 in Pennsylvania County in Danville, VA. He was a longtime employee of Bridgeport Rolling Mill and then later Southport Manor until his retirement. James was preceded in death by his parents and left to cherish his memory are: wife of 48 years, Louise Lou Williams, children; Mary L. (Robert) Keen of Axton, VA, Kirkland (Vivian) Artis, of Eden, NC, James (Vanessa) Crumpton of Cleveland, OH, Patricia A. (Patrick) Williams and James L. Williams Jr., both of Bridgeport, CT, Debra A. (Keith) Bryant of West Haven, CT; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; 6 sisters, 5 brothers, and several nieces, nephews, and beloved family members. Viewing will be at 11AM and Home-Going Service at 12 Noon at the Mt. Aery Baptist Church, 73 Frank St., Bridgeport, CT 06604. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery.
