Hyacinth L. Cadogan Obituary (1945

Hyacinth Louise Cadogan, age 71 of Trumbull, was born on February 8, 1945 in Dias Hanover, Jamaica. Growing up she admired for being a dressmaker. Her hobbies included gardening, dancing and cooking. Hyacinth was a strong and independent woman, she struggled in the island to make a living on her own. Around the time she became a dressmaker it was well needed in her community. She served her family and friends for many years until she migrated to the United States. Hyacinth Louise Cadogan is survived by her children, Kayon Megie, Paul Megie, Jennifer Lowenstein, Theo Lowenstein, Jacqueline Jumpp, Lisa Legg, Monique Legg; brothers, Glenford Cadogan, Harold Cadogan, Desmond Cadogan; sisters, Joyce Samuels Cadogan, Inez Steele Cadogan, Sadie Paul Cadogan, Carmen Cadogan, Curlene Cadogan & Hermalyn Cadogan; 13 grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and very good friends. Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
