Helena F. Moore, 70 of Norwalk departed this life Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born in Norwalk, CT on April 15, 1936 to the late Milton Mason and Dorothy McCalla. Helena worked for Neon Child Development for 25 years and was a member of Canaan Institutional Baptist Church in Norwalk where she served as a Choir Director and Sunday School Teacher. She leaves to cherish memories a daughter, Yvonne Moore; grandsons Shakha Moore, George Moore & Dwayne Sherman; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barbara Trower and Sharon McCalla; 2 brothers, Jimmy Hunt and Thomas McCalla. Funeral services are 11:00 AM Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church, 31 Concord St., Norwalk, CT; viewing 10:00 AM until time of service at the Church; Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
