Harold 'Spongy' Jonshon Obituary (1949

Harold (Spongy) Johnson died peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Spongy was born on April 16, 1949, the son of Ruby Johnson and the late Carroll Johnson. Spongy was predeceased by his brother Freddie Johnson. To cherish his memory in addition his mother he leaves four children: Harold (Michelle), Lamar (Edna) Raiheen and Schakita. Five grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Six brothers, Eugene (Karen), Thomas, Carroll (Iva), Kenneth (Keisha), David (Beth) and Jerome (Pam). Four sisters Caffey (Ronald), Linda, Carolyn and Cheryl (Leon) and many other relatives. A very special devoted friend Alva Jeffreys who stood by him throughout his illness providing her ever present patience and comfort and for that we the family are thankful. A Memorial Service to be held on Friday, February 13th, 2015 at 6:00pm at Baker-Isaac Funeral Home 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT. 06607.
