Geraldine B. Holder Obituary (1922

Geraldine B. Holder, 93 entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. Geraldine was born January 14, 1922 in St. Lucia, W.I., and moved with her family to the island of Barbados. She attended schools in Barbados and was employed by many employers before coming to the United States in 1968 and a resident of Bridgeport. She was employed by Edward Grossman until her retirement in 2000. Geraldine was a faithful and devoted member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Bridgeport. She is survived by her three children; Victor (Joyce) Holder, Brooklyn, NY, Verlin Holder, Tampa FL, and her devoted daughter Margo Holder, Bridgeport who cared for her during her illness. A granddaughter, Deirdre Horner, Santa Monica, CA and a host of friends in Barbados and locally. Services will be held on Thursday, August 20,2015, 11:00 am at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 401 Newfield Avenue, Bridgeport, CT with Rev. Dr. Victor Rogers officiating. Viewing at the church at 10:00 until time of service. Interment at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Bridgeport in Geraldine's memory.
