Ferdinand Joseph Saunders age 88 of Bridgeport departed this life July 12, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, Connecticut Mr. Saunders was born in Jamaica, West Indies March 7, 1920 and migrated to the United States in 1982. He lived in Trenton, New Jersey, Florida, and Atlanta, Georgia before he made his home in Bridgeport Left to cherish his memory are his seven daughters; Luna Rose, Jess, Violet, Mable, Ina, Joan and Edna, five sons; Dennis, Henry, Livingston, Oswald and Vanny, forty-two grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Baker-Isaac Funeral Chapel, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut with Rev. Shirley Coote officiating. Viewing is 9:00AM until time of service in the Chapel, and Interment at Red Hills Cemetery, Morant Bay, St Thomas, West Indies.
