Earnest Keitt entered into eternal rest on May 7, 2010 at home in Norwalk, CT. Earnest was born February 15, 1945 in Orangeburg, SC to the late Frank Williams and Hattie Lee Keitt. He attended the Elloree School System in Elloree, SC . He was the former owner of the The Fresh Music Record Shop in Norwalk. Earnest is survived by his mother Hattie Lee Keitt of Bronx, NY. 2 daughters, Brenda Jamison of Santee, SC and Shenika Darden of Stratford, CT, 2 sons, Reginald Darden of Bridgeport, CT and Ernest Weldon of Norwalk, CT., eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, 5 brothers, George Lee Keitt of Santee, SC, Harry (Betty) Keitt of Norwalk, Kenny (Sandra) Keitt of Columbia, SC, Thomas (Cora) Bookhart of Virginia Beach, VA and Curtis Williams of Bridgeport, CT, 1 sister, Elizabeth Reed of Norwalk, CT and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 96 South Main Street, Norwalk, CT 06854. Wake from 10:00 am until time of service at the church.
