Doris Mary Mahan

At 8:00AM on December 10, 2017, Doris Mary Mahan peacefully went on to join other beloved
family members in heaven. Doris was born February 7, 1928 in Birmingham, AL to Thomas and
Nellie Kirkland. Doris lived in Bridgeport, CT for most of her adult life and was the oldest of 14
children. She was predeceased by her son James Mahan of Bridgeport and is survived by her
sons Donald Kirkland and Larry Mahan.
A celebration of her life will take place on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 1:00PM at Cathedral
of Praise located at 45 Gregory Street, Bridgeport CT. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a
donation in Doris name be made to the Alzheimers Association. We thank you for your
