Corrine Denise Coco Melvin: visual artist, author, motivational speaker and ambassador of happiness. Corrine Denise Coco Melvin went home to be with The Lord Jesus Christ, her Savior, on January 17, 2015. With her creative character and devotion to her loved ones, Coco encouraged and inspired many people throughout her life to pursue their dreams and to express their passion. She was always known to be vibrant and stylish with a beautiful, unique flare. Coco graduated from Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT and studied Media, Communication and Visual Arts at Pace University. When she transitioned to Bridgeport, CT, as CEO and Founder of Creative Expressions/Designz by Coco, she produced internet radio shows, workshops, conferences, 4 books, and other various works of art to encourage her community to be creative and to realize their divine purpose. Faith and smiles guided Coco to be a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend. To carryout her legacy of love, Coco leaves her son Roeshad Melvin; mother Barbara Mosley; brothers Robert English, Kenny English (Wanda), and Terrance Mosely; sister Maharisha Vereen (Darnell Jr.) along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews she affectionately called Aunties Babies. Coco endearingly described her friends as true gems in her life. A Home Going Celebration for Coco will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at New Vision International Ministries, 130 Gregory Street, Bridgeport, CT. Viewing 10am-11am; Service 11am. Internment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Norwalk, CT.
