Cline Kearse Jr Obituary (1940

Cline Kearse Jr. 73, a 30 year resident of Bridgeport went home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 2, 2014. Cline was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina on June 26, 1940 to the late Cline Kearse Sr. and Nancy Haynes. He spent a lifetime building a reputation as a well respected and beloved pillar of his community. Cline served in the U.S. Army and retired from the City of Bridgeport, Department of Education in 2009. Cline Vip Kearse Jr. leaves to cherish his memories wife Patricia Rockingham-Kearse, daughters Serverina Kearse-James, and Joycelyn Kearse-Riley, son-in-laws William H. James III and Robert D. Riley, grandchildren YaImihraiy, Saraiha, William and Semaj James, Quiamire and Raheim Riley. Cline is survived by sisters Pearl Elizabeth Kibber of Pennsylvania, Annie Phillips of Gerogia, Shirley May Williams of Texas, Lular Jean Clark, Nancy Marie Hardman and his brother Clarence James Kearse all of Pennsylvania as well as a host of relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed. Predeceased by sister Lynette Faye Jones and brother Robert Lee Kearse. Service will be at Baker-Isaac on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 calling hours from 10:00am until time of service.
