Channie Saharah Jamison Obituary (1972

Channie Sahara Jamison, 39, of Norwalk, departed this life on Wednesday, February 28, 2012. She was born in Norwalk on December 3, 1972 to Annie L. Jamison and Bob Edward Gay. Channie was educated in the Norwalk School System and later worked for the State of Connecticut. Channie loved her family. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to good music. She always kept a smile on her face and will be remembered for brightening up everyones day. Channie leaves to mourn her memory, her children, Michael Rasheen Massey, Timothy Wade Marriner. Danyale Sahara Bostick, and DaVonte Quadir Bostick, all of Norwalk; grandchildren, Michael Diaziel Massey, Jr. and Preseis Massey; longtime companion, Daniel Bostick, of Harlem, New York; sister, Diane Jamison; brothers, Bob E. Gay and Lavoughn R. (Noonie) Gay, both of Bridgeport, Keith O. Gay, of Norwalk, Terrance L. Gay, of New Haven, and Anthony I. Davis Gay, of Stamford; great aunt, Arnetta Johnson, of Bridgeport; uncle James M. Gay, of Walton, New York; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church, 31 Concord Street, Norwalk, CT 06854. The viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. Interment immediately following at Riverside Cemetery.
