Carrine Antoinnette Grant Scott age 48 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Carrine Antoinnette Grant Scott (Tots) was born on June 14, 1970 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Ruby and Cardus Grant. Carrine attended Bridgeport Public School System where she graduated from Bassick High School. She attended Jacksonville University where she did one semester and returned back to Bridgeport due to financial difficulties. After spending a year a broad in Germany with her sister Pauline Grant Haughton who was enlisted in the United States Army; Carrine experienced a life filled with friendships, support and a passion to learn the German language. She was encouraged to return to the United States to finish up her college experience. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport where she again gained beautiful friendships that took her to places like Greece. She worked in the corporate environment and purchased her first home. On June 5, 2012, Carrine married Shawn Scott and later had her beautiful baby boy Alexander Hensley George Scott that she cherished very much. Carrine was passionate in life about helping her family anyway that she could. She was the first generation to earn a four year college degree and always took time out to encourage and teach her nieces and nephews giving and supporting her family. In addition to her mother Ruby Grant, she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of six years, Shawn Scott; and son Alexander Scott; one brother, Denville Dixon; three sisters, Pauline Grant Haughton, Delise Grant and Corrine Grant Taylor; two aunts, Emeline Bravo-Blackwood and Charlene Chambers; two uncles, Lynue Chambers and Popsie Grant; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00AM, Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive guest at 9:00 AM until time of service.
