Callie Newby Obituary (1946

Callie ( Nessie ) Newby, age 61 of Bridgeport, entered into enternal rest Tuesday October 2, 2007 at St Vincents Medical Center. She was born March 10, 1946 in Sanford North Carolina to the late Henry and Ethel Newby. Callie was a resident of Bridgeport, for over forty years. She leaves to cherish her memory a goddaughter Latasha Newsome, 3 grandchildren, 3 sisters, Frances Newby, Sandra Frazier of Bridgeport, and Regina ( Maurice) Wilson of Sanford, North Carolina; one brother David Newby of Bridgeport, a host of relatives, friends and a special friend Milton Walker. She was predeceased by her brothers John and Reginald Newby, and a sister Alberta Mason. Funeral services are 12:00 Noon, Friday October 5, 2007 at the Calvary Temple Christian Center, 319 Barnum Ave. Bridgeport, CT. The Officiant is Bishop John R. Thompson Sr., Pastor. Viewing is 11:00am until time of Service at the Church. Interment at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St., Bridgeport, Connecticut.
