Ashmeade E Mowatt Obituary (1955

Ashmeade Elias Mowatt was born June 27, 1955 in Kingston, Jamaica West Indies and migrated to the United States in 1971. He graduated from New Canaan High School in 1973. Ashmeade continued his education at Norwalk State Technical College where he earned an Associates Degree in Chemical Engineering in 1976. He went on to further his education at UCONN where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering Technology in 1979. Ashmeade is survived by his loving mother Daisy Lee-Birthwright; Step Father Arthur Birthwright, one sister Annette Birthwright, two brothers Noel Birthwright, (Sophie); Gilbert Birthwright (Anita); two nephews Keith (Thongsabai); Christophe`; one niece Nadine; two great-nieces, Khamli; Khetsa and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Family will receive guest from 10:00 AM until time of service at the Chapel. Interment will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Harvester Road Easton, CT.
