Alphius Watson Obituary (1937

Alphius Watson 71 affectionately known as Jamaican Lee a long time resident of Norwalk died on May 29, 2008, in Norwalk Hospital. He was born in Westmoreland Jamaica, West Indies on February 14, 1937 to the late James and Margaret Watson. While residing in Norwalk Alphius worked in Brick Masonry and as a Janitor at the former Fairfield Manor Nursing home. He is survived by two daughters Angela from Canada and Deon from Jamaica West Indies; four stepdaughters from previous marriage; Sheron Rowe, Nora Roberts, Hazel Haynes, Clova Anderson, five stepsons, Balvin Thompson, Worrel Thompson, John Thompson, Lensford Curtis, and Peter Thompson, and a host of step-grand children. His ex-wife Alice Reid Watson and stepson Andrew Thompson predeceased him. Funeral Services were Friday, June 6, 2008 at New Vision International Ministries, 130 Gregory Street, Bridgeport, CT; and Interment at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St. Bridgeport, Connecticut.
