Aldain R. Bowyer Obituary (1924

Aldain Bowyer, born July 13, 1924 went to eternal rest on Jan 11 2014 at the Fairview Health of Southport.He was the beloved husband of the late Evelena (Evelyn) Kelly- Bowyer. Mr. Bowyer was born in Portland Jamaica, West Indies. He migrated to the United States Sept. 1, 1980. Shortly after that he started working at the Norwalk Hospital in the Food Service Department from which he retired. He was a member and Deacon at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters: Una May Ramsay of Georgia, Lorna Williams (Conrad) of Bridgeport, Elcian Elsie Reid Winston Reid Sr. (Al). Four sons Kingsley Harrison of New York, Ewart (Jean) Brim of Norwalk, Joshua (Rachael) of Bridgeport, Clement Bowyer of Jamaica West Indies. He has one remaining brother, Benjamin Bowyer of Kingston, Jamaica. Predeceased by 2 brothers & 4 sisters and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 9:00 A.M at Canaan Institute Church 31 Concord Street Norwalk,CT. until the time of service. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 A.M, Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery following the service.
